What it does well

Easy to learn. Most people get going in a day.
One tool for writing, images, voice, and reading files.
Many outside apps and add-ons work with it.

Keep in mind

The free plan only gives you so much of the newest model.
Features move fast, so saved routines need a check now and then.
Business plans are billed for each person.

Good fit for

How it is billed: A free tier, plus paid plans billed per person each month.
Check before you switch it on: Turn off model training on business data in settings, and check the plan limits before you load it with real work.

Anthropic's assistant. It reads long files, sticks to detailed instructions, and writes in a plain tone.

What it does well

Handles long documents and big pasted files well.
Follows a long list of rules without wandering off.
Writes in a plain, even tone that suits client replies.

Keep in mind

Fewer ready-made connections to other apps.
Paid plans have usage limits that can stop a long session.
Light on built-in image work.

Good fit for

Pick this if your day is mostly long documents, policies, or careful written replies.

How it is billed: A free tier, plus paid plans billed per person each month.
Check before you switch it on: Ask how long uploaded files are kept, and keep client records out of chats you would not want stored.

These two do not suit the same kind of business. That is exactly why picking one matters.
